Holding our local government accountable via community education, mobilization, and aid.
Many believe that our local politicians fail to effectively listen to their constituents. In response to this, RevProj specializes in mobilizing volunteer activists en masse so that overpowering pressure can be applied.
Our legislative priority has been to pressure our city council into improving the conditions of the Muscogee County Jail.
To our city council, we have three demands:
We demand that an outdoor courtyard be built at the new jail.
We demand that our inmates receive one hour of outdoor recreation per day.
We demand that funds be approved to hire more correctional officers so that this increased movement of our inmates can be facilitated.
